Straight Face Press publishes under two names, R. M. Hume and D. M. Faraday. They write different kinds of books, so we keep the bylines separate.
The literary byline
R. M. Hume
Hume writes history, nonfiction, philosophy, and illustrated works. The books tend to start with a question and follow the evidence.
The analytical byline
D. M. Faraday
Faraday writes about Bitcoin, money, economics, and the systems behind them. The approach is skeptical and evidence-first.
The voices are different. The standard for careful work isn’t.
